FAQs
What Makes A Good Brand?
A brand is more than just a logo and some colours. A good brand is like the cover of a book – they will try to guess what it is all about decide whether they will like it before committing to it. Your brand is no different, and this is why you need to visually communicate the right message through your brand.
You brand should communicate you business’s:
- Positioning (Where they fit into the market)
- Values (Quality, affordable, etc.)
- Personality (Is brand youthful? Exclusive? Feminine?)
- And who their product/service is meant for
All of this will be incorporated into the brand elements (the logo, colours, typography, imagery, etc.) often summed up in a style guide.
What If I Just Need A Logo?
The logo will do a lot of the heavy lifting in a brand, and will often suffice a lot of smaller businesses. However, a strong understanding of the business, the values, and the point-of-difference is still required to design a logo that accurately reflects that business.
In addition to this, having the other brand elements (colours, fonts, etc.) will make future designs easier, and often produce consistently better designs and make designs cheaper due to designers not having to search for the right colours and fonts every single time.
How Long Does A Brand (Or Logo) Take To Design?
How long a design takes to create often depends on the size and complexity of the design, the number of iterations required to reach the final product, and our current backlog of work.
Often in designing a logo or brand, several concepts will be explored and then further refined into a final product. Because this requires client feedback throughout the process, it can often take anywhere between a couple days to a couple weeks. If you are in the market for clothes, our platform is your best choice!
